Artwork Guidelines

Following these guidelines ensures the best possible print quality and avoids delays to your order.

Important: Production begins only after artwork is reviewed and approved by our team. Submitting files that meet these guidelines speeds up approval significantly.

Accepted File Formats

Format Best For Notes
PDFAll productsPreferred format. Embed all fonts.
AIVector artworkAdobe Illustrator. Outline all fonts.
PSDPhoto-heavy designsFlatten layers. 300 DPI minimum.
PNG / JPGSimple designsMust be 300 DPI at final print size.
EPS / SVGLogos & iconsVector preferred. Outline text.
ZIPMultiple filesUse ZIP to bundle linked images/fonts.

Resolution & Size

  • Minimum resolution: 300 DPI at the final print size. Low-resolution files will appear blurry when printed.
  • Set your document to the exact finished size of the product.
  • Add 3mm bleed on all sides if your design extends to the edge (full bleed). Keep all important text and logos at least 5mm from the trim line.

Colour Mode

  • All files must be in CMYK colour mode. RGB files will be converted automatically, which may cause colour shifts.
  • For exact Pantone or spot colours, specify the colour codes in your order's Special Instructions field.
  • Screens display in RGB — colours may look slightly different when printed. We recommend printing a test sample if colour accuracy is critical.

Fonts & Text

  • Outline / embed all fonts before exporting. Missing fonts will default to a system substitute and change your layout.
  • Minimum recommended text size: 8pt for body text, 6pt for fine print.
  • Avoid pure black (K: 100) for large solid areas on CMYK offset prints — use rich black (C:60 M:40 Y:40 K:100) for deep, even coverage.

Garment Printing (T-Shirts)

  • Provide artwork at actual print size at 300 DPI.
  • DTF and screen printing work best with vector (AI/EPS/PDF) files.
  • Sublimation printing requires a white or light-coloured garment base.
  • Indicate clearly: print position (chest, back, sleeve), print size (e.g. 30cm × 30cm), and any colour restrictions.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Submitting screen-resolution (72 DPI) images.
  • Designing in RGB and expecting the same colours in print.
  • Forgetting bleed — edges may show a white gap after trimming.
  • Using raster images for logos (use vectors instead).
  • Leaving text or important elements too close to the trim edge.
